Principal's Message
Dr. Catherine Quinn
Woodrow Wilson School is located at the northern tip of the Bayonne Peninsula Housing approximately 500 students, the school is alive with lots of great teaching and more importantly, quality learning!   We have an academic program and co-curricular activities which provide the basis for a well rounded education for all of our students.
The population at Woodrow Wilson School is ethnically diverse with approximately 62.7% Caucasian, 24.7% Hispanic, 7% African American and 5.4%  Asian.  Our school population also reflects both regular and special education classes as Woodrow Wilson houses five self-contained Autism classes.  Many special education students are mainstreamed into the regular education population for varying amounts of times and subjects.
The days at Woodrow Wilson are often extended as there are several after school activities.  Chess, cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, softball, bowling, NJASK and GEPA classes and a Tech/Media Club are just a few that are offered to our students.
Woodrow Wilson's PTO works hard to provide that little extra that gives our school a feeling of family and community.  They sponsor fund-raisers to raise money for things like prizes for Theme Contests (decorating pumpkins in the Fall), or for a Disc Jockey for a Theme Dance.  They are a very important part of school life here at Woodrow Wilson.
Overall, Woodrow Wilson School has an inviting atmosphere and a congenial staff who work hard to make sure that all students succeed.  The students, parents, support staff, faculty, PTO and Principal all work closely together to make education meaningful for all the students.  With everyone on board, Woodrow Wilson is a great place to learn, grow and just BE on a daily basis.
