George Washington Elementary School, founded
in 1910, has as its goal to improve the quality of education
for all students enrolled in the school. We have now moved
into the 21st century. Our students will face new and challenging
opportunities at all levels in society. As teachers and administrators
we must do all that we can to provide these students with
the tools needed to meet with success when they graduate from
George Washington School. To achieve this goal in the area
of technology, our students receive weekly instruction in
the school's state of the art Macintosh computer laboratory.
Washington School's computer lab is equipped with Apple Mac
Mini and Emac computers, laser printers, and CD Roms. Each
student's computer is "stand alone" and can enable
every child to retrieve, print photos and research information
at the same time.
