ROBINSON SCHOOL SONG
music and lyrics by Mr. Charles Sangee,
last stanza by Mrs. Mary Alessi (teachers at Robinson
School)
Oh! Robinson, our grammar school, the best school
in our town,
With teachers, and our principal, and friends that
we have found.
We've learned our lessons, and the rules, to help
us through the years,
Oh Robinson! We won't forget! The times
that were so dear.
The Royals and the griffin, are the symbols that we
know,
Our colors blue and yellow, are everywhere we go.
Our graduates are everywhere, they help throughout
the land,
Oh Robinson! We won't forget! The times
that were so grand.
Our school is on the Boulevard, for many, many years,
we'll remember all the nice times, through our smiles,
and our tears.
Whatever school we go to next, our hearts will still
be here,
Oh Robinson! Our Grammar School! We'll
hold you ever near.
Once we were a high school, and everybody came,
Many went to college, and many earned their fame.
Then we were a grammar school, where children are
first taught.
Oh Robinson! You've made us proud! With
smiles of our thoughts.
No matter where I go in life, my memories are there,
My future is before me, to help, to hope, to care.
No matter what I do in life, I've learned my lessons
well,
Oh Robinson! My Grammar School! you're the story
I will tell.
Oh Robinson's a special place, we'll hold you in our
hearts,
With oh so many memories, that won't keep us apart.
The good times and the bad times too have helped us
learn to share,
Oh Robinson! We won't forget, you taught us
how to care.
