House 2

The 2007– 08 school year has brought a change to House 2 with the appointment of Mr. Leo Smith as Vice Principal and Roseanne O'Brien as Administrative Assistant. Together we hope to bring a new energy to House 2, enhancing the strong academic environment traditionally associated with the second floor of Bayonne High School.

While business classes are predominant in House 2, English, math, world languages, and social studies are also part of the daily schedule. The recently renovated library, occupying most of the west wing, offers thirty computers, quiet reading areas, and trained staff to assist students in research. The stained glass windows and magnificent view add to the serene atmosphere of one of the most beautiful areas of Bayonne High School.

House 2 is also the home of BEN-TV, which serves both as a classroom for students studying TV production and a television studio in which shows such as House 2 House and Know Your Schools are taped.

In keeping with the District theme of Building a Caring, Learning Community, my goal is to work with the experienced, dedicated staff of House 2 to create a safe, quiet, and academically stimulating atmosphere for all Bayonne High School students who occupy our classrooms during the course of the day.
