Rolling Thunder is a project that was developed by teachers for today's classrooms. It was written to assist teachers in fulfilling the curriculum requirements for the sixth grade at Woodrow Wilson School in Bayonne, NJ. However, this project is applicable to a variety of ages and grade levels in order to introduce many scientific, mathematical, language, and technological concepts. Below is our suggested classroom implementation strategy. Linked at the bottom of this page are all the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards (Grades 4-8), that will be fulfilled upon completion of this unit.
