NORTON ANTIVIRUS
- MONTHLY - Run Norton
AntiVirus Update / scan the hard drive
[This must be done with a teacher Novell login]
- Login to Internet
Explorer as a teacher.
- Open Norton AntiVirus
- Click Live Update
- READ SCREEN - click next
until it tells you it is finished.
- Exit Norton in order
for the updates to take effect.
- Logout and close Internet
Explorer
- Open Norton AntiVirus
- Scan the C drive.

There is a danger of viruses anytime disks are allowed to go from lab to lab or home to lab. I would prefer that all disks stay in the teachers’ possession. Otherwise, you must scan the disk at the teacher machine before the student can use the disk.
