Ceramics and Spanish Interdisciplinary Lesson

The students of Mrs. Plesniarski’s Ceramics I class collaborated with Mrs. Silvelo’s Spanish I class to produce ceramic pinch pots.  Both teachers introduced the clay work of Pablo Picasso, famous 20th century Spanish artist, to their students.  The Ceramic students partnered with the Spanish students to teach them how to create a clay pinch pot, incorporating line, shape and texture into the artwork.  After the pots were bisque fired, the pinch pots were glazed and fired for the final time.
