The fantasy was planned a long, long time ago when eight high school girls made a pact to meet ten years after graduation in the Emerald City also known as Bayonne. They would meet where their friendship began, which happened to be at the Military Ocean Terminal. The girls met there during their freshman year while on a school trip. These ladies went through the high school experience being known as the Ringleaders, aka Snow White, and her 7 dwarfs. Susan “Snow White” Spinach was the class of 1997’s student counsel president she and her best friends: Hilary “Happy” Honey, Donna “Doc” Doughnut, Samantha “Sleepy” Shrimp, Becky “Bashful” Blueberry, Darlene “Dopey” Dessert, Scarlet “Sneezy” Squash, and Gina “Grumpy” Grapefruit all hoped they would reunite one day to check out all the new hotspots in Bayonne and catch-up on things.

The time was finally here, it is 2007! Snow White showed up to the MOT looking her best, she was thrilled to have the night to herself, leaving Prince Charming behind with her twin sons. Sue (Snow White) was on time, it was five o’clock, but no one was else was present; there was no wrapping paper. Low and behold, after a little while, she noticed this little old lady with a bag in her hand. When she approached this woman she thought she recognized her, but it couldn’t be! “Hello there, Sue! Or should I say Snow White? Remember me? It’s Mrs. Waffle, whom you and your little friends dared to call a witch to my face one day!” – Exclaimed the nasty witch-like Phys. Ed. Teacher.

“Oh hiiiii, Mrs. Waffle. It seems you haven’t changed a bit.”

“Hmmmm…… well if your looking for your friends you aren’t gonna find them here. I wanted to make you girls play one more game, so I had them all show up to different places in this fine city.”

“Oh did you really? That was cute. Well then I’m off to find them!”

Mrs. Waffle was the girl’s Phys. Ed. teacher, the whole high school referred to her as the Witch of the West Gym. Back in high school, a day would never go by when Snow White and her seven DWARFS did not have to run those horrible eight laps around the field. Sue “Snow White” decided to go fetch her friends so she left the base eager to see her girls! Before entering her horse and buggy she noticed squirrel nuts scattered on the dirt. Imprinted in the dirt read – YOU MUST RETURN HERE BY MIDNIGHT OR ELSE! Snow White didn’t really pay attention to the message because she knew it would not be that difficult to find her seven diamonds.

Hilary! Hilary. Where can she be? Snow White decided to check out Houlihan’s. Low and behold there was Happy Hilary, having a drink at the bar! Of course it was Happy Hour. One down, six to go! Snow White and Happy jumped in the horse drawn carriage and set off to find another gal. The two friends caught up and reminisced about high school. They thought back to the times when Dopey Darlene would be so delighted to get sixties instead of forties! Next stop would be Bayonne High School – that is where they found good ole’ Dopey! Snow White, Happy, and Dopey next rode by Bayonne Medical Center – that is where they found Doc. Donna was always playing with knifes. Becky? Where could Bashful be? “Umm. . . since she was always so shy maybe she’d be in that Networking Café, on some website trying to find a date,” – sounding smart exclaimed Dopey. That’s where she was. So now that left three, and it’s only eight o’clock. Maybe Sleepy would be at Rockaway Bedding? Samantha was known for taking naps EVERYDAY so it wasn’t a shock to find her snoring on a mattress.

Snow White only had two friends left to find; Sneezy and Grumpy! Now where could they be? Within the next two hours the Ringleader and her five dwarfs found the others. They did not find Scarlet and Gina easily, it took a couple tries to find Sneezy and bad weather slowed then down in the search for Grumpy. The horse drawn carriage first brought the girls to a pharmacy called Hudacko’s but Scarlet was not inside. It next stopped at Shop Rite, then Walgreen’s, then finally Brockman’s Pharmacy where Sneezy was found! Everything seemed to be going just find then all of a sudden it started to pour! Thunder shook the carriage and the white horses ran for the hills; literally. They approached this desolate area full of grass, green grass. Snow White began to get nervous since she seemed to be back to the place where she started. Now there were holes, flags, and little animals coming up from the ground; why would the Grumpster be here? The spot where Snow White and her six dwarfs found Gina was the Bayonne Golf Course. “Grumpy was put where grumpy people work,” said the bystander playing a round of golf.

Everyone was now back together! Snow White and her seven dwarfs rode back to the Military Ocean Terminal which was their castle by the sea. They were set to celebrate and kick back on old times, until they were bewildered by this gigantic mirror which stood six feet tall in front of them. The girls locked hands and approached the mirror as one. Looking into the mirror they saw themselves back at high school. It was like Susan, Hilary, Donna, Samantha, Becky, Darlene, Scarlet, and Gina had never left. Snow White and her darling dwarfs were living a fantasy, and watching a tale as old as time.
